On April 30th 2021, the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Data Science Institute and the UH Libraries will host the annual “Data Visualization Competition” event, with the goal of creating awareness of different research groups, and facilities that utilize and develop data visualization for their work. Who can submit? Currently enrolled, full-time UHS undergraduate or graduate students who are not employed by UHS. Closing date: April 28, 2021. What should I submit? One powerpoint slide with one image (with one or more panels) and a caption to describe your name and the image. It should be created by yourself or in collaboration with your UHs research group. What should I NOT submit? More than one ppt slide with images or a video. Any image(s) that you did not create. Who will judge the winners? Judgment will happen 12:15 - 12:30pm CST. The 1st place will be voted by the organizing committee and invited speakers. The prize will be a $150.0 Amazon gift card. The 2nd place will be voted by the audience online.
